Role: Information Security Analyst

Location: Bangalore

SUMMARY OF ROLE AND OBJECTIVES:

The Service Delivery Management, Metrics & Onboardings crew actively participates in managing the delivery of the Security Services to internal service consumers.

The Information Security Analyst (Service Delivery Management, Metrics & Onboardings) is responsible for service management activities for assigned service consumer base, acting as the SPOC (Single Point of Contact) between the service consumers and the Eurofins Group Security, resulting in positive customer satisfaction.

From operational perspective, the Information Security Analyst is responsible for the health of security services for internal service consumers.

ROLE & OBJECTIVES:

Specific Assignments:

The main responsibilities of an Information Security Analyst (Service Delivery Management, Metrics & Onboardings)

Role responsibilities:

  • Run all Service Delivery processes and ITSM processes in Security Operations as defined by the Group.
  • Manage and/or oversee the overall Security Services onboarding program for Zones and non-integrated ELEs, including but not limited to set deployment expectations, build project timeline, Onboarding resources management, stream communication across different stakeholders, monitor and report progress, and propose roadblock removal strategies so a compliance metric for a minimum of 95% of all Security Toolset coverage is achieved for all technologies in scope (100% for SIEM).
  • Ensure Security Services are fit for purpose, carrying out relevant reviews/propose modifications as necessary.
  • Conduct Security Service Review sessions with service consumers and stakeholders with special attention to Onboarding, Security Toolset compliance and Security Service Dashboards.
  • Cooperate with internal Security teams and other Security actors to further develop Security Operations.
  • Report SLA, KPI and performance metrics of Security Services, steer activities as per metrics defined in the Service card.
  • Make sure definition of improvement plans to meet SLA and KPI are in place.
  • Assess and report the level of compliance for each ELE/ZONE; and ensure there is a defined plan to reach the target as defined in the TSFs.
  • Coordinate the work provided and service delivered by the security partners.
  • Prepare and publish the report to stakeholders including Local IT Management and Information Security Management.
  • Ensure that all Security documentation for Internal/External service consumers are available and updated.
  • Help in the development of processes and procedures required for the delivery of the Security Services.
  • Provide a clear and regular update to service consumers on action items, including proposed actions and dates to closure.
  • Receive and coordinate reporting requests, assisting with high level design of reports where required.
  • Provide Security Services expectations to align the stakeholders and service consumers.

 Other Assignments:

  • Overall accountability for transition success building best practices for the service management community.
  • Build, manage and maintain a trusted relationship with all Security actors and service consumers both internally and externally.
  • Organizing and Leading Service Delivery sessions including incident review, problem resolution, etc.
  • Leverage the most effective and efficient service from the delivery teams for each assigned service consumer.
  • Receive and coordinate consumer reported bugs/issues with internal Security Team.
  • Maintain/track service consumers contact and organization details.
  • Produce consistent, high quality service reviews on a monthly basis that demonstrate quality and continuous improvement.
  • Escalation point for internal teams for unresponsive service consumers.
  • Provide feedback to the Service Owner
  • Supports the Lead Information Security Consultant and the associate Director in day-to-day activities.

 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

 Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, IT, or a related field. (required)
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL Foundation, CompTIA Security +, CISM, or similar credentials are preferred.

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in IT service delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a security-focused organization or environment.
  • Proven track record in managing and improving service delivery processes, ensuring alignment with SLAs and business objectives.

 Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, network security, and cybersecurity principles.
  • Proficiency in security frameworks such as ISO 27001, GPDR, HIPPA and other information security standards.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their associated security services.

Communication:

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships across teams and regions.
  • Strong conflict resolution ability.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex security concepts to non-technical audiences.

Problem-Solving and Strategic Thinking:

  • Expertise in identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex service delivery issues in a timely manner.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities with the ability to plan and execute long-term strategies.
