Job Description

  • Support laboratory daily operations and facility management as directed by Team Leader/Manager
  • Perform administrative tasks, printing, filing, scanning, invoicing, procurement of office supplies and lab consumables, updating SOP, attending to incoming phone calls and visitor reception
  • Manage laboratory reagent and consumables inventory, including stock level monitoring, usage tracking, expiry date control, and replenishment planning to ensure uninterrupted lab operations.
  • Perform tasks related to Internal and external archiving (documents & media tapes)
  • Contact sites / customers via email or phone when required by daily operations
  • Generate documents and reports as required by daily operations
  • Support Operation in daily purchasing activities
  • Provide guidance for users/ requestors / suppliers of the lab
  • Place Purchase Order and follow up with supplier for goods/services delivery & receipt.
  • Participate to supplier Selection, qualification and price negotiation 
  • Be primary contact person to finance team, Purchasing team & Lab for inventory and or sourcing (estimated quantity, technical requirement from lab for a product/service)
  • Cooperate with Finance Team, Purchase team to source alternatives (better suppliers / better products in aspect of commercial terms, and help to follow with lab to approve new source
  • Other purchasing tasks and expense reporting as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma and above
  • Proficient in both English and Mandarin
  • Motivated individual with excellent time management and strong attention to details
  • Immediate availability is preferred
