Job Description
We are seeking a Lab Asset Management Metrologist to support qualification, calibration, and maintenance of analytical instrumentation in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform and document IQ/OQ/PQ qualifications on instruments (HPLC, GC, KF, UV‑Vis, HIAC, MFI, etc.)
• Execute scheduled and post-maintenance qualifications and resolve routine calibration issues
• Perform priority repairs on user-level components (lamps, pumps, seals, tubing, etc.)
• Support chromatography data systems (e.g., Empower)
• Assist with instrument upgrades, testing, and troubleshooting
• Manage accurate equipment documentation and asset records in GMARS
• Track and report instrumentation performance metrics
• Coordinate and escort vendors performing maintenance activities
• Partner with client teams to support asset management and lab operations
Qualifications
BS in a life science field + 4 years relevant experience, or MS + 2 years experience
• Hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation in a GxP environment
• Strong technical aptitude, communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and maintain data integrity
Additional Information
- The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.,
- May be requested to work on weekends, overtime, and holidays based on business needs.
- Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Indianapolis, IN are encouraged to apply.
