• Prepare well written communications for various stakeholders
  
• Plan, lead, and participate in internal control assessments and the related statement of assurance in accordance with OMB Circular A-123 (or Sarbanes Oxley) to include the test of design and operating effectiveness for internal controls over financial reporting and operations. 
• Perform internal control assessments of government charge programs and conference spending to identify and prevent improper payments. 
• Prepare Federal financial reports in accordance with OMB Circular A-136.
  
• Demonstrate effective decision making and problem solving. 
• Technical proposal writing to aid in generating new business. Promote the firm, its cultures and values.

• Strong written and verbal communications skills, as evidenced by preparing reports and presenting information to clients.
  
• Ability to demonstrate leadership skills.
• Ability to demonstrate a history of performing increasingly complex work. 
• Two to three years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, internal controls assessments, auditing or other areas of Federal financial management. 
• Bachelors of Master's degree from accredited college or university in accounting or Information Systems
  
• CPA or CPA Candidate
• Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) or CGFM candidate
• Ability to obtain a Federal Government Security Clearance
• Demonstrated experience performing Federal financial statement audit programs, internal control assessment programs (test of design and operating effectiveness), or Federal financial reporting.
  

Preferred Skills and Credential

• Federal Proposal Writing experience
  
• Project Management Professional "PMP", Certified Internal Auditor "CIA" or  Certified Information Systems Auditor "CISA" certifications
• Prior "Big 4" Federal Audit or Advisory Experience
