Job Description

  • Leading customer onboarding and transaction processing functions and teams. Team of 30+ individuals.
  • Ensure that the team structure, capacity and processes are fit for purpose and future proof to build greater process efficiency and improve risk management and controls.
  • Spearhead transformation efforts in order to increase levels of automation with the team, while improving customer experience
  • Process reengineering with the goal of improving efficiency
  • Enhance overall customer experience by coordinating and following up with internal and external customers, tracking customer requests, and resolving concerns.
  • Accountable for the successful delivery of functionality that meets client/regulatory requirements.
  • Performs audits to confirm that the onboarding and funding process is performed in compliance with respective regulatory requirements.
  • Preparing and presenting performance insights to highlight areas of improvement.
  • Review teams’ SLAs and extract insights from onboarding and processing escalation requests and prioritizing the deliverables required.
  • Close communication with our partners, payment providers, and financial institutions to ensure we have an ongoing smooth relation and services.
  • Focus on team development and ongoing learning, while building QA capabilities to ensure SLAs are met.
  • As the change champion for your team, you will be relaying the organisation’s strategy and ensuring that the team priorities are aligned accordingly, and these are understood and embedded across the team.
  • You will be responsible for the full employee life cycle and ensure that any performance management is addressed.

Qualifications

  • University Degree in Economics/Accounting/Finance or in a related field will be considered an advantage. 
  • Fluency in English. Any additional language will be considered an advantage. 
  • Previous experience in regulated environment including Forex, Banking, Payment Institutions, and financial institution is a must.
  • Experience in transformation of back-office functions desirable with focus on efficiency and building scalable capability.
  • Understanding how payment processing, payment systems, acquiring, reconciliation, treasury, and settlements work is a must.
  • Advanced computing and systems skills –very good knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint, MS Outlook 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively network with stakeholders, handle multiple tasks and track and report on progress. 
  • Previous experience in corporate management/administration will be considered an advantage. 
  • Must be detail and result oriented, analytical, and organized as well as a self-starter with the ability to think creatively. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, to work in a fast-moving environment and to meet aggressive goals with multiple competing priorities.  
  • A proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with business partners.  
  • Provide expertise and support to commercial, customer support, and partner teams regarding the successful ratio of the implementation of various payment solutions with key strategic partners and merchants. 
  • Utilize expertise in market knowledge and data analysis to contribute to our overall product and company success. 
  • Have experience in managing a team and being involved in all parts of the employee life cycle. 
  • Ability to translate the overall company strategy and apply it to the direction of your team.  
  • Developed teams to create an environment of continuous learning and enhance engagement. 
  • Led a team to ensure that KPI’s are met to the level required.
