Job Description

  • Assist in the daily operations of the Trade Operations team in Risk and Trading function
  • Researching for new potential instruments and reporting as required by management
  • Communicating with other departments to resolve issues about trading
  • Process corporate actions, indices dividends, CFD stock & cash equities dividends
  • Monitor markets’ holidays and prepare trading schedules
  • Responsible for testing new instruments, platforms and further trading technological updates
  • Reconciliations: Intercompany & LP position recs, with a focus on automation.
  • Produce executive reporting for all regions
  • Monetize market data: Manage commercials and relationships with market data vendors & exchanges, ensuring the business runs at a profit on market data – particularly crucial for institutional clients where redistribution fees over API
  • Responsible to perform all Trade Operations tasks about corporate actions

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree preferable in Finance or Economics or any other related field
  • Strong understanding of the financial markets and forex market
  • Strong understanding of regulatory bodies (e.g., FCA, CySEC)
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to work in a team, positive attitude, excellent communication and listening skills 
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment, multi-task, prioritize and meet strict deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Previous experience managing corporate actions
  • Ability to use market data vendors to calculate dividend points, with understanding of implications of using gross vs net dividend.
  • Experience using futures exchange websites/session times to gather market holiday/closure information
  • Can calculate own swap points on FX/metals and understanding of institutional swaps market

Desirable:

  • 6 months working experience in a corporate environment
  • Previous experience with FX PB settlement procedures/reconciliations
  • Experience or knowledge of investing/ leverage products trading
  • Interest in financial products, markets or economics
