Job Description

FIP VENTURES (www.thepinesfireisland.com)  is seeking an Executive Assistant & Operations Intern. Options for commuting or relocation are available. This position is currently available and will be run at least through Labor Day 2013. The position reports to and works directly with the General Manager.

 
This is a very exciting and great opportunity for someone to gain valuable experience in Commercial Properties Operations; Hospitality (hotel and tenants) and Food & Beverage (bars, restaurants, nightclub, pool deck.) You will be performing Executive Assistant duties to the Asset / General Manager, as well as being directly involved with the Operations of the Resort.
 
The internship is in two parts:

a) Immediately -- March: Three days a week, weekly stipend, in our West Village office.
b) April -- October: Fulltime, requires relocation to our Long Island resort, weekly stipend, food credit, and free housing.

Qualifications

Candidates must have strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, and be able to work well in teams. Candidates should also be organized, professional, energetic and detail-oriented.
