Enterprise Social Media Architect Manager


Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 2 years proven experience in one or more of the following Enterprise Collaboration and Social Media technologies:  Jive or Radian6
  • Minimum of 2 years leading Information Technology teams
  • Minimum of 2 years of coding experience in any language (i.e., Java)

Preferred Skills:

  • Consulting experience
  • A desire to create business applications out of new technologies 
  • Understanding of technical architectures and the current state of the technology market in fields such as social media, web development, or similar
  • Social media project experience (Either a role managing a social media presence, a role selling/delivering social media to clients, or related roles)
  • Java coding experience preferred

Job Description:
As an Enterprise Social Media Architect, you will lead planning and implementation of social business solutions for Fortune 100 clients using enterprise collaboration and social media technologies including Jive, Salesforce and Radian6.  You will use your passion for emerging technologies help the world's largest brands change the ways that business is done. You will lead development teams with resources from around the globe, and you will work with clients across business functions, including Marketing, Customer Service, IT and others.  You excel at developing comprehensive implementation strategies, and have a background in development of enterprise applications. As an advisor to our clients in the domain of social media, you will maintain a personal presence in social media, and you will participate in development of thought leadership that broadens our reach and our outlook.
Activities Include:

  • Work with clients to establish social media strategies that directly address their business goals using the best available social media channels
  • Collaborate with global consultants and researchers to communicate out best thinking to clients and project teams
  • Lead teams delivering social media tools to clients, based on their social media strategy
  • Work with research teams to define new tools and concepts based on client needs and technology evolution
  • Coordinate with teams in Europe and Asia to continually evolve our social business agenda and capabilities

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Estimating, forecasting and planning social technology implementation efforts
  • Planning and managing Social Application Assessment and Requirements activities
  • Assisting clients in defining key social capabilities and requirements that will enable their strategy
  • Defining application entrance and exit criteria
  • Being recognized as an expert on one or more social application vendors or products
  • Creating project deliverable templates and standards  (e.g., including process standards)
  • Creating complex conceptual designs, including application interfaces and interactions
  • Planning and managing program-wide application build, test, and deploy activities
  • Identifying and monitoring interdependencies between various application implementation activities
  • Planning and establishing after go-live activities including ongoing support
  • Participating in recruiting activities in your geography
