Job Description

Job Functions 

Establish and maintain effective Configuration Management (CM) and QA process for Applications Development

Enhance and expand the scope of existing QA and testing function

Develop test plans based on provided System Documentation using Team Foundation System Test Manager and/or HP Quality Center software

Create application test scripts based on provided System Documentation and Use Cases (if applicable) using TFS Test Manager and/or HP Quality Center software;

Track defects found during testing and link bug back to test script; create and execute automated test scripts.

Lead application testing within SQA.

Work with Developers to resolve test related issues by supplying detailed steps related to issues found Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Extensive knowledge in Agile testing and recording test results.

Build applications from different version control repositories, i.e., PVCS, Subversion, and TFS Knowledge of Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) platforms, ITIL framework, Service Oriented Applications (SOA), Data Warehouse, Data Analytics platforms and framework.

Understand and test Web Services, MPI and API connections to outside vendors and record expected results.

Prepare testing environment and applications servers by deploying files and applications onto Jboss/Apache/Windows servers using FTP software.

Setup security and user access. Maintain knowledge of TFS Test Manager and HP Quality Center applications and SQA best practices Lead projects and communicate with offshore SQA resources

Qualifications

Education: BS Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.

Certifications: iSQI GmbH Certified Agile Tester certification required.

Additional certifications Certified Software Test Professional Master Level (CSTP-M,) SCRUM CRM1, ISO, Sigma Six, CMM or CMII preferred.
