Job Description

The Teller II is responsible for developing a positive rapport with the customer base, performing accurate and efficient financial transactions, and providing resolutions to customer requests and concerns. This role is also responsible for cross-selling and recommending additional solutions, new services, and product promotions in an effort to grow and retain our customer relationships. The Teller II will assist with the mentoring and training of new and less experienced Tellers.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, attentiveness, information retention, and tact and diplomacy in dealing with both customers and bank associates; comprehensive mathematical skills; strong communication and organizational skills; detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy; experience with computers, telephone, 10-key calculator and other office equipment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • 1 - 3 years of retail banking experience preferred.
