Our client is a multinational company that is into the sales and distribution of consumer electronics; majorly phones, personal computers and softwares. It has over 350 retail stores in different countries, as well as an online store.

 

Our Cient is about to open a state of the art retail store in Accra, Ghana and thereby seeks an Assistant Store Manager with multinational retail experience (preferable repatriates). 

Job Description

Job Objective:

To support the store manager in achieving or exceeding unit, financial and developmental targets. The assistant manager is responsible for all aspects of store management in the absence of the store manager.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Customer service - Putting systems in place to maximise customers' satisfaction
  • Sales targets - Achieve and exceed sales targets Maintain registers for training, ASTO and ASTA
  • Systems management - Adherence to all policies and procedures Maintain store audit results
  • Stock management - Accurate asset register Stock loss percentage as per Key Performance Area (KPA)
  • Human resources - HR reports Maintain performance against set budget
  • Marketing - Branding and merchandising standards are adhered to Weekly training feedback report
  • Operations - ensure smooth opeartion of the day to day activites of the store

Qualifications

Qualification

  • A good university degree
  • Minimum three years managerial experience in a store of a similar turnover
  • Must have a track record in a target driven environment
  • Previous experience managing a store of a similar turnover
