Our client is a multinational company that is into the sales and distribution of consumer electronics; majorly phones, personal computers and softwares. It has over 350 retail stores in different countries, as well as an online store.

 

Our Cient is about to open a state of the art retail store in Accra, Ghana and thereby seeks a Financial Controller with multinational retail experience (preferable repatriates). 

Job Description

Job Objective:
This individual is charged with the overall responsibility for all administration duties within the Store including control of stock, cash and assets to minimise risk. Custodian of all Store policies, processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Detailed Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Stock Management - Policies and procedures adhered to Stock loss percentage as per KPA Correct stock levels maintained Stock levels and aging as per SOP and Store
  • Financial Management - Budget preparation Asset registrar reported monthly
  • Human Resources - Ensure attendance registers are completed accurately Ensure appraisals and tracking documents in place
  • Operations Management - Policies and procedures adhered to Store audits and checks Accurate and timely reports. Cellular Adherence to all policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a first degree in any field. A financial qualification would be an advantage.

  • Minimum of five years retail experience in a leading technology retail store. Three years of which must be in a finance managerial position.
