Company Description

Our client, a Federal Government parastatal with the primary aim to stabilizing and revitalizing the Nigerian economy seeks the services of a legal clerk in their legal unit for their Abuja office.

Job Description

Sending, receiving, prioritizing, and distributing mails and archiving them as appropriate.

 

Candidate must be familiar with court structures, vendors and other legal resources; and have basic knowledge of legal terminology.

 

Establish and maintain filing systems, maintain logs and track cases and appeals, and act as custodian of departmental documents and records. 

 

Assisting external solicitors with new briefs and with existing briefs.

 

Dispatching of legal mails to external solicitors.

 

Perform other tasks as may be required.

Qualifications

Minimum of OND.

Preferably someone who has worked in a legal settings with knowledge of legal terminologies and processes.
