Job Description
$21.75 Per/Hour
Schedule manure pickup, routing and delivery by company trucks and sub-haulers. Coordinate collection of samples as required from ranches. Log driver information from driver daily activity sheets and delivery tags.
Monitor company drivers and sub-haulers for compliance with bio-security procedures
Monitor company drivers and sub-haulers for Safety Compliance
Monitor ranch and customer site conditions for safety issues, driver productivity and changing conditions that may impact disposition of manure
Coordinate preventative maintenance and regular maintenance of trucks and trailers
Training and orientation of new driers and sub-haulers including bio-security, ranch procedures and loader certification. Assist with plant new hire training and certification as necessary.
Maintain driver files and other paperwork needed for DOT compliance including hours of service.
Test drive/basic diagnosis of problem equipment
Serve as subject matter expert for all rolling stock issues
Pickup or deliver plant supplies or samples as needed
-Evaluation of Drivers and road tests
-Annual review and revision of JSTAs for all driver tasks
-Evaluation on loaders for company drivers and sub haulers
-Assist with out of service criteria for trucks/trailers/loaders
-Assist with hours of Service
Qualifications
Ability to react independently to changes in operating environment.
Must maintain a Class A California License
Good interpersonal and communications skills
Mus be able to work independently with limited supervision
Experience with fleet operations of heavy trucks including maintenance and regulatory issues (including DOT)
