Job Description

Purpose of position:
Create, maintain and train employees on product tracking procedures for recall reporting total company. Complete the Mock Recall Score Cards and distribute results to all necessary parties. Manage all aspects of Micro and QA Hold at Outside cold facilities to ensure 100% accuracy. Monitor frozen inventory to ensure proper rotation and inventory levels by facility. Assist with processing Outside Cold Storage receiving and shipping transactions

Essential Job Functions:

Coordinate mock recalls which consists of finding inventory in approximately 20 cold storage facilities that match the identified recall item.

Run sales history for all facilities with product, pack date, quantity, and customer contact information to ensure each customer can be identified as needed.

Will conduct a reconciliation report to ensure all produced product was found and accounted for and will report on each mock recall to ensure this process is thorough  

Manage Micro and QA Hold at all outside cold storage locations  

Create, maintain and train on all system reporting that is related to recalls 

Ensure accurate system inventories for all Outside Cold Storage locations 

Report and measure proper inventory rotation for all frozen products in all locations 

Maintain co-packing schedules and coordinate raw supply, pick up of finished goods, etc. 

Additional Functions:
Back-up other employees in prepared foods product management group as needed.

Qualifications

Requirements:

B.S. Degree in business, statistics, or related field strongly preferred

One-three years experience in Inventory Control and Shipping / Receiving Operations

Strong Computer Skills (MS Office and SAP, WMS, BW helpful)

Strong verbal and written interpersonal skills, strong customer service values and have strong problem solving skills 

Must have ability to solve problems in a detailed, comprehensive manner

Able to work independently and work with all levels of management. Must have a high degree of organization and prioritization skills
