Perform all routine analytical tests on designated samples in assigned areas and make them available to reporting
This includes analyzing check samples.

Implement all quality assurance protocol and perform all quality control analyses, making all applicable graphics and reports available for review on a daily basis. Perform proper statistical analyses on quality control samples and keep current all required graphics and charts.

Accurately enter all results into the computer and generate worksheets from the lab’s database system. Maintaining clean glassware and work stations/equipment. Keep supplies stocked. Perform timely and accurate analysis on assigned tasks.

Bachelor’s Degree in the sciences highly preferred or equivalent experience working in Chemistry lab, performing basic and complex testing procedures

Understanding of chemical laboratory procedures required

Solid math aptitude, including algebra.

Must be able to figure out chemical formulas through calculations.

Must be able to read, understand, and execute analytical (test) procedures. Must be able to follow safety procedures

Must be able to use quality control charts to determine whether run results are within recommended recovery specifications.

Must have the ability to troubleshoot and correct routine equipment malfunctions.
