Perform all sample preparation as assigned and some basic chemical analyses

Maintain clean equipment, workstations, and reagents necessary for assigned responsibilities.

Accurately enter all results into the computer, generate worksheets and login samples as assigned from the lab’s database system.

Maintaining clean glassware and workstations, Keep supplies stocked; Perform analyses on quality control samples and keep current all required graphics and charts. Ensure timely and accurate analysis on assigned tasks.

Other duties as assigned

Science background or demonstrated laboratory aptitude highly preferred

Mathematical aptitude.

Must have some knowledge of excel and data processing and ability to complete data entry accurately

Must be able to read, understand, and execute analytical (test) procedures. Must be able to follow safety procedures

Must be able to use quality control charts to determine whether run results are within recommended recovery specifications.

Must have the ability to troubleshoot and correct routine equipment malfunctions.
