Purpose of position:
Responsible for food preparation and preparing breakfasts, lunches and dinners.

Essential Job Functions:
Responsible for the preparations of all items cooked on grill including breakfast items, food items in the fryer section, the steam table and must be able to work grill section and call wheel. 

Will be responsible for preparation of by following Café recipes

Keep work area clean and sanitized at all times 

Prepare food items according to Foster Farms specification

Monitor and ensure highest level of food safety 

Opening and/or closing, as well as side duties as needed

Keep work station clean

Requirements:
Must have three-four years of cooking in a commercial kitchen, with breakfast, lunch and dinner experience

High School Graduate or equivalent

Serve safe certificate preferred

Must have job knowledge of each station on a ‘cook’s line’ including: fryer, broiler, grill, salad/sandwich, and prep cooking stations.

Must be able to lift 30-40 pounds occasionally

Catering and/or Banquet experience preferred

Must be team player and show pride in workmanship

Must comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act

Excellent interpersonal skills

Must be dependable and organized and be flexible in work hours
