Job Description

Purpose of position:

To capture cost and performance data for Hatchery, Livehaul, Feedmill, and Growout management. Track performance data and costs on a weekly basis. Period close responsibilities include preparation of journal entries, account analysis worksheets, and preparing period dollar and performance reports. Prepare, provide, and analyze Agri Stat information for live operations. Assist in preparation of live operations budgets. Responsible for ordering farm supplies and maintaining supply inventories, create purchase order requisitions in SAP upon request and receive invoices in SAP and sending invoices to AP for payment.

Essential Job Functions:

Responsible for period close to include Journal Entries, AAW and reporting 

Responsible for weekly estimate and reporting as well as analysis

Purchase order requisitions, invoice receiving, status research

Complete Ad hoc live reports and analysis

Prepare annual budgets

Farm supply ordering and inventory management

Responsible for processing and auditing contract grower settlements/preparing packets


Qualifications

High School graduate, some college accounting classes, Bachelors degree preferred

Three or more years of accounting experience with a demonstrated ability with data analysis

Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Strong PC skills – Strong Computer Skills – SAP, Mtech, BW, Excel, Windows, Word, Outlook

Able to work independently and work with all levels of management. Must have a high degree of organization and prioritization skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills and be self motivating, resourceful and a quick learner.
