Job Description

Purpose of position:
Support Foodservice Sales and Marketing with all bid price processing, bid results analytics, and administrative tasks needed to support our reorganization from a broker sales force to direct manufacturer representation. The key function is to provide bid prices to our distributor customers as they bid our products in the K12 segment. The region and area sales managers also need support with Blacksmith TPM system, A/R deduction resolution, Bid Advantage pricing, customer communications, various customer information requests fielded by Customer Service/Credit/A/R. In addition, the position provides bid reporting from Interflex Bid Advantage.

Essential Job Functions:
1. Execute Foodservice Bid Process (Interflex Bid Advantage System and Blacksmith)
a. Provide Bid Pricing to all Foodservice distributor customers in CA/OR/WA & TX
b. Review and Process Manufaturer Direct Bids
c. Enter bid pricing into external database/portal
d. Develop and streamline process for efficient information gathering and decision making
e. Develop Training and Analytics directed to Sales and Marketing team for quick decision making process and sales target setting.
f. Work with Marketing Managers on pricing decisions and strategies related to Commercial and Non-Commercial Foodservice Bid Segments
g. Work with Sales and Marketing Managers to find Bid opportunities

2. Commodity Processing (K12 Services and WBSCM)
a. Process National Purchasing Agreement with USDA
b. Process State Puchasing Agreements with State
c. Run Monthly Reports for USDA, States and School Districts
d. Receive loads into USDA WBSCM System
e. Maintain SEPDS with USDA and States
f. Process Draw Down Values in K12 Services System
g. Validate distributor Draw Down Values in K12 Services System
h. Process rebate checks

3. Contract and Price Sheet Administration (Ariba)
a. Create contract tracking in Ariba
b. Create/Revise price sheets for
 Foodservice Turkey
 Foodservice Corn Dogs
 Foodservice Fernando’s
 Foodservice Cooked Chicken
 Foodservice ABF/NAE
 Foodservice Private Labels
c. Publish price sheets internally

4. Blacksmith Foodservice TPM – Develop and provide training to Regional Sales Managers and Area Sales Manager
o Independently identify and articulate the training needs for the foodservice business. Then use the most effective means of training for the business needs
 Understand the training needs based on Marketing/Sales/Finance/Deductions/Pricing feedback
 Identify root cause of deductions activity and develop training to address
 Train RSM’s to execute individualized training for their Brokers
 Make sure users of BA know when to create programs and which templates are correct for different business needs
 Address general day to day systems and business related questions for support

5. Sales Administrative Support
a. Search various web site for information retrieval being requested of and by Regional Sales Managers
b. Facilitate between AR and RSM/ASM the resolution of chronic customer deduction issues
 Develop and execute corrective action for permanent fix
c. Facilitate customer communications as directed by Foster Farms Quality Assurance
d. Respond to various and miscellaneous customer requests fielded by Foster Farms Customer Service
e. Gather information as requested by Foster Farms Credit & Master Data
f. Gather feedback from RSMs and ASMs as requested by Foster Farms Marketing
 Query SAP BW and AFS Sales Discovery
Organize customer RFP data gathering

Qualifications

Requirements:
1. High school diploma, associate’s degree or bachelors degree in business or data related fields strongly preferred
2. Capacity to develop detailed understanding of Blacksmith TPM, Blacksmith’s Forge Analytics, SAP TPM, SAP BW, Interflex awardedbids and bidadvantage and AFS Sales Discovery
3. Demonstrate solid analytical skills (data entry, business math, statistics) and data analysis experience strongly preferred
4. Strong computer, communication and presentation skills, and have the ability to work cross-functionally
5. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
6. Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office
7. Ability to travel, ability to obtain valid CA Drivers License & obtain reliable transportation
