Job Description

Essential Job Functions:
1. Supervise five Foodservice deduction processors and utilize metrics and strategies to maximize productivity and maintain Food Service (FS) deduction balances.
2. Resolve complicated deductions that require escalation to sales/marketing management
3. Review all business processes versus best practices and implement changes where needed.
4. Ensure all processes yield accurate and timely customer records, identify processes that could lead to incorrect reporting, implement corrective action.
5. Evaluate distinctions among customer accounts to ensure balanced distribution of accounts among staff
6. Analyze reporting of the promotional landscape to understand the department’s workload
7. Communicate with sales & marketing groups to ensure deduction resolution is appropriate, identify opportunities to improve promotional offerings and provide key information to ensure timely and accurate deal true-ups

Additional Functions:
1. Analyze allocation of resources
2. Resolving exceptions to clerical transactions involving pricing, disputed charges, etc.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
1. BS Degree in accounting/finance preferred, or equivalent work experience
2. One-two years of accounting/finance experience
3. One-two years of supervisory experience
4. Strong system skills (Excel) and excellent analytical skills
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
6. Excellent organizational skills and detailed oriented
7. Ability to work well independently and with a team
8. Must be self-motivated, assertive, objective, and resourceful.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
1. One-three years of accounting/finance experience and one-three years of supervisory experience
2. Strong system skills (Excel, BW, SAP)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Consistent and reliable attendance
2. Ability to work in fast paced, high pressure situations
