Job Description

Purpose of position:
Provide Foster Farms external customers with world class customer service directly and through supervision of the assigned staff. This includes (but is not limited to):
 Management of the Food Service and Key Account Customer Service group
 Resolution of customer issues
 Direction and approval on customer returns
 Communication with sales account representatives on customer and product issues
 Approval and direction on acceptance of late orders and plus-ups
 Ongoing coordination and communication with Transportation and shipping on customer order issues or changes
 SAP activities that include creation of CSRs as master data, daily and weekly monitoring of reports (Open Orders, VL06o, ZSDL, Shortages, V.02, etc.), research of order, delivery or shipment issues, research and resolution of customer shortages and fundamental knowledge of SAP order entry
The CSRs are a primary source of communication between Foster Farms and the customer and can help maintain an unbreakable link for service and commitment. Supervision and direction of this group is key to Customer Service success.

Essential job functions:
Supervision of Customer Service area and resolution of employee and order issues

SAP reporting, research, issue resolution and follow-up

SAP order and master data processing

Sales Representative contact and communication and customer contact and communication


Additional functions:
Some weekend and after hours work and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Requirements:

B.A. in Business Administration or associate degree preferred

Three plus years in Poultry Industry or Customer Service environment

Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills

SAP experience strongly preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and must be detail oriented

Strong computer skills including MS Office suite

Ability to work well in a team environment
