Job Description

Purpose of position:
The person in the position is responsible for maintaining and managing foodservice bracket pricing, promotions and contracts for all foodservice accounts; the person is also responsible for generating analysis on pricing and discounts and allowances. The position also requires processing of check requests and also generating ad hoc reports. The position also is required to assist accounts receivable department with deduction questions.

Essential job functions:
1. Maintain and coordinate all activities relating to updating, distributing, and verifying pricing
and complete market changes
2. Analysis of shipment volume for customers, reconciliation of the deal-spend to GL Accounts, research pricing issue and/or discounts and allowances, adhoc reporting as needed
3. Interact with sales management and sales reps and provide support for the Foodservice Division’s selling efforts
4. Ensure compliance with Foodservice Division’s Trade Promotion and Pricing Program and true up the deal system
5. Maintain and coordinate activities relating to specific accrual programs and ensure the accuracy of pricing files
6. Processing large corporate payments through blacksmith

Qualifications

Requirements:

1. High School graduate, some college accounting classes, Bachelors degree preferred
2. One or more years of accounting experience with a demonstrated ability with data analysis
3. Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills
4. Strong Computer Skills – SAP, Blacksmith, CRM, BW, Excel, Windows, Word, Outlook
5. Able to work independently and work with all levels of management.
6. Must have a high degree of organization and prioritization skills
7. Good communication and interpersonal skills and be self-motivating and resourceful
8. Demonstrates a sense of urgency and able to work in a fast paced environment
