FusionTek is currently seeking Desktop Support Technician in the Alexandria, VA area. The primary job function will focus on the support of desktop and laptop systems, including break/fix service, operating system and application loading, application configurations and user settings, and desktop administrative duties. Required to record, track, and escalate cases through an established tracking system. Additionally, the candidate will have familiarization with basic server and network concepts and possess the ability to boot/restart servers/network devices and perform similar technical network services of low technical complexity. This is an excellent entry level technical position with a growing IT company and future potential for advancement.

MCSE Certification and/or CCNA Certification
A+ Certification and/or Network+ Certification
Minimum one year experience in business-to-business outside technical role
Demonstrate success in applying consultative support techniques
Demonstrate level of success in the development of client relationships
Excellent time management skills
Excellent verbal, written, and listening communications skills
Proven and verifiable track record doing outside technical work
Ability to lift and carry computer components up to 50 pounds
Proficient use of PC hardware and software
Microsoft Office Suite
Windows 8/7/Vista/XP/OS X Desktop OS
Basic Understanding of the following:
Backup and Disaster Recovery Services
Managed Services Software
