Job Description

GATR Technologies has an immediate opening for a USMC Deputy Program Manager with the following credentials and experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems, or Engineering
  • 3 years related experience
  • SATCOM experience preferred
  • Networking experience preferred

 

Job Summary:  Work as part of the GATR Sales and Support team by directly supporting GATR programs to ensure customer success, assist with training and troubleshooting, encourage follow-on sales and maintain effective customer relationships.

Qualifications

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with the program team to support existing customers by calling, emailing and visiting to ensure continuity of relationship; check on progress of product adoption; receive feedback on hardware and communicate/advocate for changes with Engineering; check on operational proficiency and schedule retraining as needed.
  • Conduct site visits to customer locations to check on equipment status, personnel changes, and assess any training/support requirements; support demonstrations, trade shows, and other deployments to reinforce customer relationships and identify potential new customers
  • Act as customer liaison for Integrated Master Schedule, Integrated Product Team meetings, configuration management, warranty program, customer training, and provisioning milestones
  • Communicate information to the customer on system updates, including design change notices, software updates, and associated documentation
  • Travel to customer sites to conduct NET or sustainment training; communicate information on system updates, including formal design change notices; track program changes which affect GATR
  • Participate in key conferences to help position product among current and potential customers.
  • Under direction of the Program Manager, develop and track project schedules, budgets and forecasts, RMAs, and status reports; participate and help author Statements of Work and responses to RFPs as necessary; assist in maintaining and updating customer database, contacts, and records.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, such as Word, Project, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Ability to represent the company on site and present the product positively and with confidence during all aspects of implementation
  • Work as part of a team to accomplish common goals

 

Special Requirements:

  • Moderate travel required (up to 50%)
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
  • Must have the physical flexibility to kneel, squat, and bend
