I. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree
- Two years of experience in a commercial role
II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The purpose of this job is to coordinate and manage commercial communications and commercial research activities for CSI's North America operations.
This position will plan, organize, coordinate and monitor resources to:
Lead Insights Activities:
• Manage Market Research Initiatives for North America Diversified Segments
• Manage Research Vendor Relations
• Manage qualitative and/or quantitative consumer/customer research
Lead Commercial Communication Activities:
• Manage all commercial collateral and communication tools
• Manage North America Conferences / Tradeshows
• Manage Memberships / Associations
• Manage Website (maintenance, content and inquiries) & Social Media
• Manage Trademarks Applications and Maintenance
• Manage Vendor Relations
Lead Commercial Administration Activities:
• Manage Department Budget
• Involved with team’s strategy development and deployment
• Procurement resource within Diversified team
Support Outsourced Graphic Design & Photography Activities for:
• North America tradeshow graphics
• North America brochure development
• North America ad development
• North America direct emails
• Ad hoc photography needs
III. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None
IV. EDUCATION AND OTHERS SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor degree in Marketing or equivalent experience. MBA preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Two to three years experience in an organization developing the referenced skills. Experience in closures/packaging industry and/or consumer products preferred. The application of sound business practices through the knowledge and understanding of internal structures of organizations and how the missions and goals of each functional area work together to support the overall mission and goals of the company is mandatory.
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: Proven track record in developing and managing insights and communication activities, including established relationships with vendors and agencies. Must have a broad perspective of all our markets. Demonstrated leadership ability. Demonstrated creativity and entrepreneurship. High ambition and motivation. Personally productive and self-managing; secure in one’s ability to make decisions and perform the job. Ability to adapt work practices, priorities, or procedures in response to changing conditions or multiple work demands. Strong analytical skills. Must be sensitive to different cultures and ways of doing business. High degree of stress tolerance. High level of listening and communication skills. High level of organizational skills. Must be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
What physical requirements are expected of this position?
Light Work: Lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 15 pounds of force frequently, and/or minimum amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls require exertion of forces greater than that of Sedentary Work and the employee sits most of the time, the job is rated as Light Work.
Frequent use of computer.
Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Minimal travel required.
