We are searching for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to be an early addition to the development team with significant ownership, autonomy and leadership opportunities. You will report to our Head of Engineering and be responsible for being a key decision maker and contributor across all aspects of the Gated product.

• Rapidly develop, in quick iteration cycles, highly available, resilient features, backed by maintainable, well tested code that can quickly ship with a high degree of confidence.

• Draw from a wealth of experience in both startup and enterprise environments, making intelligent decisions on technology, mvp boundaries, and application maturity planning, embracing data-driven decisions, taking a lean approaches to measured, strategic investments

• Ability to thrive in a highly agile, fast-paced environment that is focused on value delivery over methodology, comfortable traversing the technology stack, applying focus and effort where the need of the moment presents itself.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, excelling in a remote work environment, being able to accurately status and remain in priority alignment with a dispersed team.

• Javascript/Typescript exert, in both NodeJS and React ecosystems

• Proficient in Git version control and GitHub

• Extensive experience in automated testing, in code design and approach

• Comfortable making sound decisions around SQL modeling, schema design, and query optimization

• Experience in API design and maintenance

• Knowledge of caching strategies, aware of optimizations and drawbacks, on both the front and back end

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with mobile and desktop app development

• Familiar with cloud services & technologies, (GCP/AWS)

• Previous success at startup / high growth stage organization

• Google APIs, particularly Gmail, Calendar and OAuth
