Job Description

Objective

The Head of Human Resources is a passionate people’s person who is responsible for all HR related tasks. Managing the hiring and payroll processes  as well as process for all future employees, definition and implementation of payroll and attendance system and building improving up HR processes and structures in according to our global HR standards and in cooperation with Corporate HR are some main tasks of the scope. The role is leading a team of 7.

This function reports directly to the of Commercial Affairs in Horšovský Týn.

HR Planning and Staffing

  • Develop headcount budget and forecast according to business situation together with Management team
  • Coordinate requirement at all levels ensuring competence in recruitment and selections, participate in recruitment of all level staff as appropriate, advise and support line managers to improve ability to forecast, attract and integrate new skills in line with business plans
  • Coordinate and supervise probation performance
  • Analyze employee turnover and other manpower related statistics so as to extend constructive suggestions to management team
  • Managing the hiring process from recruiting until on-boarding of the new employees
  • Managing the labor growth on-site with a focus on developing and optimizing the required resources (qualitative and quantitative)
  • Manage international workforce who is coming to the Czech Republic (work permit, administrative issues)

Training & Development

  • Design and deliver programs to meet the development needs of individuals, teams and organization
  • Cooperate with managers to analyze qualification gaps, job requirements, operational problems, plans, forecast and current training program to identify training and development needs
  • Coordinate the internal Training Center with two trainers and changing number of apprentices
  • Cooperation with the Global Training Center in Wackersdorf work on a common standard for the apprenticeship program

Performance Management

  • Continuously improve and maintain performance appraisal system
  • Ensure smooth performance management process and provide recommendations

Compensation & Benefits

  • Make personnel cost budget and implement control measures to ensure it within the budget
  • Propose salary & benefits policies
  • Prepare reliable compensation and benefits increment proposal
  • Manage payroll process

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years in an operative Human Resource function in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • B.S. / M.S. in Business Administration/Human Resource Management or comparable education
  • Profound knowledge in the local labor law and labor regulations
  • Czech: level C2 (mandatory), English: B2 (mandatory), German skills would be an advantage
  • Ability to work with relevant IT applications, e.g. MS Office
  • Planning, project management and organizational skills, with ability to analyze and improve HR structures and processes
  • International and intercultural work experience as well as working within a global collaborative framework
  • Stable, solid and authentic personality and clear service orientation; self-motivated and passionate
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills both internally and externally utilizing networking and exchanging best practices
