Job Description

Function as a business partner with plant and financial management to effectively manage and control the local business. Be accountable for plant level responsibilities including general accounting, cost accounting, business analysis and financial reporting. Will also liaison with corporate financial staff, as required.

B.A. in Accounting or Business Administration.

5-10 years as plant controller or cost manager in a manufacturing environment, with an emphasis on cost accounting, reporting and variance analysis.

Plastic Injection Molding experience preferred.

Qualifications

1.     Prepare monthly reports of results, monthly forecasts, annual operating plan, and strategic planning.

2.     Responsible for internal controls at the plant for operations, sales and finance.

3.     Analyze and accurately report current month’s financial results to the plant, sales, and corporate management in accordance with corporate format and time requirements.

4.     Ensure accuracy of the physical inventory and reported results. Investigate and explain book to physical adjustments. Enter monthly inventory and COGS.

5.     Maintain a perpetual inventory for finished goods and reconcile this perpetual to production, shipping, and returns on a daily basis.

6.     Generates labor cost and shipments reports for management review and manage standard cost system.

7.     Conduct product line analysis for management review.

8.     Ensure bill of material and costing accurately reflect production operations.

9.     Review labor reporting and cost, material costs, manufacturing overhead, distribution cost, returns and inventory levels.

10.  Analyze internal controls to ensure assets are adequately safeguarded and results are accurately reported.

11.  Assure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Policies. Resolve questions of GAAP, IFRS and internal controls with corporate financial management.

12.  Assist in the completion of special projects.

13.  Accounting Functions:

-        Cash - Post transactions daily, prepare bank balance & check register, prepare bank reconciliation.  Reconcile Customer and Supplier Accounts, review and sign checks, process ACH items and prepare ACH remittance advices. Prepare Liquidity Report.

-        Accounts Receivable - Review aging receivable by customer, prepare and send notices, review shipping logs, prepare invoices, verify pricing and close and remit invoices to customers.

-        MEC - Prepare all necessary financial information the TCC segment, provide assistance to the Accounting Manager for reports, etc., update all cost in the item master.

-        Create operation and strategically budget and forecasts for the entity based on target provided by management board.

-        Provide adhoc analysis on commercial topics required by operations.

-        Monitor Performance and Production as directed by the Head of Commercial Affairs.
