The Primary Packaging Glass Division produces glass primary packaging for medicines and cosmetics, such as pharma jars, ampoules, injection vials, cartridges, perfume flacons and cream jars.

Under the direction of Plant Supervision, depending on shift and current situation, performs a variety of all around manufacturing and facilities electric repairs to production equipment and facility services to ensure optimum production and quality.   This position also supports manufacturing by maintaining production equipment on both the hot and cold ends, troubleshoots equipment to determine if repair/replacement is necessary, and makes recommendations accordingly.

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from technical school or

• 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training preferable in a mfg environment

• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Prior proven mechanical, CNC machine experience, work history or on-the-job training

• Understanding of 24VDC, 24VAC, 110VAC and 480VAC 3-Phase circuits

• Knowledge of automatic gauging equipment including verification and calibration

• Ability to perform support including Assembly, Drill, tap & punch holes and programming/downloading files for PLC

• Knowledge of vision systems, automatic packing and packaging equipment

• Essential Computer skills

• Ability to read and write English
