Located in Old City, Philadelphia, Guru is looking for a super awesome Senior Front End Engineer to help build our innovative UI.  We are an early stage startup founded by an experienced team, backed by a group of strong investors.  By joining now you will be a core part of our engineering team and help shape the future of our products.  

Candidates must be able to craft a software solution from the ground up, including initial design, architecture, implementation and ongoing maintenance.  

Candidates should be familiar with various programming styles, able to identify and avoid technical debt and contribute to the bottom line of the development team.  We are looking for a talented, experienced, fast-paced engineer to help drive our company forward.

Requirements:

• B.S. in Computer Science or relevant work experience

• Understand and help drive all front-end development

• Deep knowledge of Javascript, CSS and HTML

• Understanding of different browser implementations

• Knowledge and experience in modern web front-end frameworks

• Work closely with the other engineers and designers to craft rock-solid solutions

• Excellent communication skills and willing to work in collaborative, strongly opinionated environment
