Job Description

GoPago, Inc. seeks a motivated, energetic individual to field incoming calls regarding consumer/merchant product inquiries, questions, and concerns. This individual must have a desire to go above and beyond the call of duty. Customer Support Reps are the face of our organization with merchants and customers.  This shift's typical hours are from 2:00pm to 10:00pm. Employee will be paid hourly. One weekend 8:00am-5:00pm shift will be required per month.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-house customer service, specifically phone correspondence
  • Filter and direct inquiries and concerns from consumers/merchants to appropriate staff
  • Close attention to details in order to correctly record inquiries, comments, and complaints
  • Problem solve, diffuse tension and provide solutions
  • Use effective listening skills to ensure understanding of merchant/consumer needs and desired outcomes
  • Focus on creating a positive merchant/consumer experience
  • Handle complaints with patience and understanding, possess “thick-skin”
  • Consider best interest of both company and consumer
  • Communicate clearly both written and verbally
  • Work efficiently in high-pressure and fast-paced environment
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries, and seek timely resolutions
  • Exhibit interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams
  • Take initiative to analyze and solve problems

Qualifications

  • Four-year Bachelor’s degree, or in progress
  • 1-2 years customer service experience
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) or Spanish a plus
  • Available for immediate start
