* Days Shift, Monday – Friday!

DUTIES:

* The Art Therapist will perform services at the Federal Correctional Complex, located at Butner, NC.  This Federal Correctional Complex includes: 1) Federal Medical Center (FMC), 2) Low Security Correctional Institution (LSCI), 3) Federal Correctional Institution I (FCI-I), 4) Federal Correctional Institution II (FCI-II), and 5) Federal Prison Camp.

* Education: Must have a Master’s Degree in Art Therapy from a nationally accredited university or college.

* Certification: Be a Registered Art Therapist, ATR.  Board Certification in Art Therapy is a plus!

* Experience: 1) Minimum of two years’ experience working/practicing as an Art Therapist.  2) Must also have a thorough working knowledge of DSM-1V diagnoses, psychological treatment modalities and criminology.

* Other:  1) Basic Life Support (BLS) / Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification required.  2) Spanish language is a plus.

* Must be a U.S citizen.

Staffing and Scheduling:

* Monday through Friday 7:30 am and 4:00 pm, with a 30 minute unpaid lunch period.
