POSITION SUMMARY:

Does telephone & direct mail marketing for purge customers. Sets-up sales meetings for Business Services Manager to present to potential customers.  Ensures a highly effective and smooth operation of Goodwill's Document Destruction office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential Functions Statements:

 

Responsible for securing over $21,000 of purge business each quarter using telemarketing and direct mail.

 

Handles and routes incoming Document Destruction customer inquiries on a daily basis.

 

Assists in marketing for purge accounts as directed by the Business Services Coordinator, and Business Services Manager.

 

Contacts potential customers and schedules sales meetings for the Business Services Manager to make presentations and secure new accounts.

 

Assists in collecting of past due house accounts as directed by the Business Services Manager.

 

Assists Document Destruction Department with other administrative needs as determined by the Business Services Coordinator, and Business Services Manager.

 

Performs other duties as directed or assigned. 

Qualifications

Education: Associate's Degree (two year college or technical school)

 

Experience: One to two years related sales experience.

 

Computer Skills: Must be computer literate. Must be experienced in creating and maintaining MS Word documents, setting up and maintaining MS Excel databases, and e-mail. Knowledge of MS Access is helpful.

 

Certificates & Licenses: Must have a valid CA Driver's License and DMV driving record acceptable to Goodwill's insurance company.

 

Other Requirements: Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred, but not required. Must have a criminal record acceptable to Goodwill's Document Destruction requirements.
