Job Description

  1. Provide on site and off site job coaching services to assist consumers to learn job
    skills necessary to retain employment.

  2. Provide transportation of consumers to worksites, when necessary, using Goodwill
    vehicle.

  3. Provide guidance and behavioral intervention as assigned.

  4. Responsible to learn the jobs (existing and new) in order to provide the assistance needed
    to ensure the successful completion by consumers.

  5. Perform job retention (follow-up) support services during and post-placement.

  6. Responsible to set up and clean up the worksites.

  7. Act as a positive Role Model for employees, consumers, and customer in all aspects
    of professional performance.

  8. Follow all company policies and safety procedures for all undertakings.

  9. Regular attendance is required.

  10. Other duties as assigned (non-essential)

Qualifications

  1. Must interact with a variety of people and motivate consumers to highest level of
    productivity.

  2. Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and communicate clearly in English.

  3. Ability to learn new tasks with complete efficiency.

  4. Ability to train individuals to perform assigned duties.

  5. Valid drivers’ license.

  6. Flexibility to cover other areas of Goodwill when needed, including assuming facilities
    operation duties when necessary.

  7. Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs. frequently with occasional
    lifting up to 50 lbs.

  8. Ability to engage in prolonged periods of sitting, standing and walking.

  9. Ability to function in hectic work environment with occasional periods of high stress.

  10. Ability to work in a warehouse setting

Additional Information

EMOTIONAL EFFORT: Moderate, occasional short deadlines requiring some overtime. Work environment occasionally hectic with occasional periods of high stress.

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.

EXPERIENCE:
One-year experience with disabled population or related field required.
