Goodwill's Outsourcing and Production Fulfillment Center is accepting applications for a part-time Assembler. As an Assembler at Goodwill, you will have a chance to earn a living while supporting Goodwill's mission to help people with disabilities or disadvantages achieve their potential through work.

Job Description

Specific Duties:

  1. Follow all Goodwill policies and safety procedures. Must possess professional etiquette.
  2. Keep work area and surrounding area neat, clean, and orderly.
  3. Performs industrial assembly functions and other light assembly operations as needed.
  4. Interacts courteously with other employees of Goodwill and with businesses for which Goodwill provides services.
  5. Regular attendance is required.
  6. All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Skills and Abilities Needed:

  1. Ability to engage in prolonged sitting and repetitious duties.
  2. Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs frequently.
  3. Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  4. Flexibility to cover other areas of Goodwill when needed.
  5. Ability to function in a hectic work environment with occasional periods of high stress.

Additional Information

A minimum of one (1) year experience of working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
