Job Description

 

DISTRICT MANAGER – Full Time

Location:  Morgantow, WV.

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field

Experience:  5-7 years

Will accept at least 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree

Compensation:  $45,000                                                                                                      Travel Required:  Yes

Summary:  The District Manager is responsible for the profit and loss and the day-to-day activities and operation of assigned district. The qualified candidate must understand the organization’s retail processes and products, will play a key role in the hiring process, must accurately complete all necessary reports and paperwork; will assist with personnel, financial planning, marketing, and operations of the Retail Division; and will provide training and development of new management staff and ongoing development of staff.  Provide leadership and direction; to staff, program participants, donors, and customers; ensure that production and quality goals are achieved; support the mission by achieving sales, budget, and profit objectives; insures store operates in an efficient manner. Insure positive application of organizational policies and procedures by all staff and retail facilities are operated in such a manner as to reflect a positive internal and external appearance. The self motivated candidate understands the benefit of working together as a team and is able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.    Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, problem solving, organizational, and management skills, be customer/detail oriented, have a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and have a valid driver’s license.
