Goodwill retail stores are the principal business operation of Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania.  Members of our retail management team play a vital role in our organization.  Our thrift stores are considered the "backbone' of the company by contributing nearly 60% of our annual revenues as well as offering training and employment opportunities for clients and consumers.

Job Description

The Receptionist will be responsible for greeting all people in a courteous manner and assisting/ directing callers or visitors to the appropriate person or place.  Register visitors by issuing computer generated identification badges to them.  Duties include, but are not limited to maintaining inventory in Central Supply, supporting safety and security activities, and updating various tracking logs.  Be sensitive to consumer and student needs.  The qualified candidate should have experience in handling a multi-line phone; have excellent written and verbal communication skills, proper telephone etiquette skills, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. This position requires sitting for extended periods of times.  The receptionist must maintain an appropriate appearance adhering to agency guidelines and be flexible to work Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm as needed.                                 
Average hours per week will be around 20 hours a week (5 days a week).

Qualifications

Education:  High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience:  Reception, secretarial or experience working with the public is preferred.
External Hiring Range:  $9.00/Hour Travel Required:  No
