Responsible for maintaining a high standard of behavioral health services for the Residential Treatment Center.

 

Duties & Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Supports the mission, vision, and philosophy of Graham Windham.  Complies willingly with all organizational policies and procedures.
  • Supports all functions that attain and maintain accreditation and compliance with regulatory agencies.

  • Participates in appropriate professional development programs to attain and maintain competency.  This competency will include the appropriate provision of services for the age-specific population served.
  • Reports (and if possible, provides intervention for) incidents of abuse or potential abuse to the supervisor on shift.
  • Adapts work schedule to meet the needs of the program.
  • Exhibits regular and punctual attendance.
  • Provides direct supervision of clinical professionals, Psychiatrists and Psychologists at the Residential Treatment Center.  
  • Provides for the professional development and technical assistance of the clinical staff for the program.
  • Collaborates with MIS and QI to establish appropriate monitors for clinical service in the RTC.
  • Develops and implements policies and standards, which ensure that the program is effective and fosters a therapeutic environment for each resident.
  • Ensures that the Treatment Teams carry out the policies and standards of ACS and Graham Windham to meet the goals within the allocated time.

 

  • Participates in administrative and leadership meetings to promote service improvements and advancements.
  • Performs required clinical assessments.
  • Oversees the administration of standardized outcome measurement instruments (CAFAS and others).
  • Facilitates referrals to inpatient service programs as necessary.
  • Promotes the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) process by identifying quality indicators to measure the outcomes of departmental projects/functions and by identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Generates correspondence, administrative reports and related documentation as assigned.
  • Attends and participates in administrative/staff/committee meetings as assigned.
  • Facilitates other projects as assigned.
  • Within departmental parameters, exhibits customer service, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Effectively prioritizes and coordinates job tasks for maximum productivity. 

Qualifications

  • A doctorate in clinical psychology, medicine or related discipline or masters in social work is required.
  • Seven years of progressive experience in clinical supervision and administration is required.
  • Three years experience in child/adolescent assessment and treatment is required.
  • Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills.
