Job Description

General Summary 

We are adding to our current staff levels and have openings for four Processor Helpers at our Elk River Resource Processing Plant. The Processor Helpers perform plant cleaning duties, traffic direction and compactor operation as required in a safe and efficient manner.  The processor helpers will work a day, afternoon/evening or rotating shift.  

 

Job Responsibilities:

- General cleaning of all plant equipment and facilities

- Tipping floor traffic director

- Compactor operator

- Hand picking on the processing lines

- Operate and perform pre-maintenance inspection on forklift and skid steer loader.

 

Working Conditions:

Work is indoors and outdoors, sometimes in inclement weather. This job requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb, work at heights and work with arms above head. The ability to kneel and squat on a frequent basis, along with occasional work in confined space areas. Must be able to use full face respirator and other personal protective equipment when required.

Qualifications

Knowledge typically acquired through a high school diploma or the equivalent. The position requires a valid driver’s license and Minnesota State Class “C” driver’s license.
