Job Description

We are searching for a Finance Director to provide daily fiscal oversight, budgeting, forecasting, allocation planning, and financial management for the agency. 

This position requires a professional and seasoned employee who is a self starter with the ability to work within a team.  Further, the ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of United Way and its community impact model. 

Specific duties include accounts payable/receivable, payroll, financial summaries, campaign finance overview and accounting, as well as allocation planning, oversight, and reconciliation.  The right individual will also have a passion and desire to build initiatives and be involved with overall community programs within the United Way agency that strengthen the financial stability of our community. 

 

 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required as well as at least 3 years experience working with nonprofit agencies.  Must be computer literate with a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office and QuickBooks.  Knowledge and experience with CTK Community Impact software, Donation Tracker, or database management are a plus.  A true desire to help and promote the United Way and its vision is a definite must!
