We are seeking a Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) Inspector

Location: Bonnyville Area
Work Environment: Remote Location (Travel and accommodations paid)
Wage: Based on Education and Experience
Hours of Work: Rotational 9 days on-5 days off

The primary responsibility of the Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) Inspector is to manage the Quality program of a project as it pertains to the electrical scope of work.

  • Demonstrating a commitment to supporting IEC’s  goals in the areas of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE)
  • Fully support and promote IEC’s core values
  • Provide a high level of surveillance related to quality assurance requirements and project installations
  • Ensure that all inspections have been completed, specifications have been met and that installations are compliant with relevant federal, provincial and client regulations.
  • Provide a variety of inspection functions related to materials, equipment, construction and installations
  • Ensure that all work meets or exceeds code
  • Record and document and non-compliance issues or deviations in quality
  • Provide reports and warnings of noncompliance of materials, equipment and construction
  • Coordinate technical reviews and approvals
  • Promote and ensure compliance to all relevant safety programs and regulations



  • Minimum five (5) years of progressive Quality Control Inspection experience in an electrical industrial environment
  • Mandatory Working knowledge of Canadian Electrical Codes
  • Red Seal Interprovincial Journeyman Electrician
