This individual should have at least 1 to 5 years primary experience working with IBM Websphere Application Server technologies with recently demonstrated ability in the following applications:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          IBM Websphere Application Server Network Deployment 6.1 or later                                                                                                                                                                                                     - IBM HTTP Server 6.1 or later                                                                                                                                                                                                     - Connectivity to database server such as DB2 (preferred), Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL                                                                                                                                                                                                     - Operating system experience with Windows Server (desirable) and IBM AIX 5.x or later (required)                                                                                                                                                                                                     - Websphere Portal Server 5.x or later (highly desirable)                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Description of the skills the candidate Must possess:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Skills                                                                                                                                                                                                     - Experience installing and configuring the IBM Websphere Application Server Network Deployment 6.x or later software including IBM HTTP Server and Plugins.                                                                                                                                                                                                     - Experience utilizing the IBM Websphere diagnostic and performance tuning tools (tracing, PMI, etc) and analyzing the results.                                                                                                                                                                                                     - Experience designing and setting up WebSphere security profiles.                                                                                                                                                                                                     - Experience tuning Websphere configuration to improve performance and experience working with Network and OS teams on performance improvements.                                                                                                                                                                                                     - Excellent communication skills – individual will be responsible for coordinating between developers, QA, and management for internal and client staff.                                                                                                                                                                                                     - Experience with complex systems with very large servers (multiple 16 core or larger servers).                                                                                                                                                                                                     - Documentation experience – individual must be able to document processes and revise documentation as required.                                                                                                                                                                                                     - Troubleshooting experience – individual must be able to quickly diagnose issues reported by production and non-production users and provide resolution.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Demonstrated out of the box thinking is a must.                                                                                                                                                                                                     - Ability to prioritize work without management direction, but provide clear and documented status updates to client.                                                                                                                                                                                                     - Demonstrated experience with HA/DR methodologies and planning.                                                                                                                                                                                                     - Experience with scripting for automated installation of applications                                                                                                                                                                                                     - Experience assisting developers debugging applications                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         Our career path includes: Analyst and Senior Analyst, Associate, Manager, Vice President, Principal and Managing Principal.
