Job Description
WHAT YOU’LL DO
We are looking for Store Designers to join our Retail experience function at H&M on a temporary contract. As part of our team, you help us realize store projects all over the world, through collaboration with many brilliant colleagues, reflected in high-quality design solutions and commercial plans based on customer needs and behaviours. You will:
- Effectively collaborate to project-specific research about customer and project objectives, including some analytical tasks connected to the brand’s commercial plans
- Create and/or review architectural and interior design packages as well as construction documents for various types of projects
- Ensure strong communication with multiple project teams, contractors, consultants, and local H&M Group teams
- Provide on brand solutions to resolve technical and design challenges
- Ensure the timely issuing of all the deliveries connected with the projects.
- Follow up on your projects and take ownership of analysing both successes and learnings.
Qualifications
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for people with....
- A bachelor’s degree and background in Architecture or Interior Design
- Solid understanding of spatial development - from early concept work to full‑scale detailing
- Experience in retail architecture or a strong passion for fashion, retail, and the opportunities within the industry
- Approximately 1 -6 years of experience in commercial/retail architecture or interior design, with a focus on layout design and planning; international experience or education is a plus
- Strong understanding of the full lifecycle of real estate projects -from exploration and negotiation to business cases, approvals, design, procurement, construction, and follow‑up
- Proficiency in Revit (mandatory); knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus
Strong project‑management and presentation skills, with the ability to drive and balance multiple projects simultaneously
