WHY HAIYI?

Haiyi Hotels is looking for a experienced, entrepreneurial, and talented Reservations Agent to join our great team. Haiyi Hotels Management is a new boutique hotelier based in San Francisco. The name "Haiyi" comes from a combination of two Chinese words, HAI meaning "ocean" and YI meaning "leisure," which roughly translates to mean providing guests with an ocean of leisure and relaxation. Our five hotels include Best Western Americania, Best Western Carriage Inn, Good Hotel, Hotel Vertigo, and Hotel Metropolis. 

The Reservations Agent will provide exemplary service to our guests and co-workers. This also includes handling all telephone inquiries and reservations accurately and efficiently by answering the telephones courteously, promptly, and professionally while promoting HHM and individual property services and ensuring maximum room revenues. 

Qualifications/Skills:
Essential:
1. Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English (speak, read, write) with guests, co-workers and management to there understanding.
2. Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with a minimum of supervision.
3. High school graduate.
4. Previous hotel experience.
5. Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance.
6. Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with co-workers and the public.

Desirable:
1. One to two years' previous hotel reservations experience.
2. Computer knowledge in Windows environment and previous experience with automated property management system.
