Job Description

The Accountant/Tax Intern, will allow accounting students to gain real world experience in the field of corporate taxation in a global multinational enterprise while completing their studies.  

The ideal candidate will be preparing for a career in public accounting with the intention of becoming a licensed CPA.  This is a year around position while attending school.  Work hours will be flexible around school schedule.  

  • Preparation of the corporate U.S. federal, international, and state tax return compliance.
  • Preparation of quarterly estimated income tax payments and extension.
  • Sales and Use tax return and work paper preparation.
  • Tax research, Project documentation, file organization.
  • Assist in preparation and compliance with external and internal audits.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 0-1 year of related corporate tax experience.
  • Experience using Microsoft (Word, Excel, Access).
  • Completion of 3-4 years of college and a current emphasis in accounting.
  • Strong organizational skills & attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills - both oral and written.
  • Team-player, customer-centric attitude.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently and as an effective member of a team.
  • Ability to balance work across multiple projects.
  • Enthusiasm, initiative and pride in work.
