Job Description

Harmonia is currently looking for smart and self-motivated Payroll Administrator/Accounting Assistant with the ability to take on and overcome challenges in a dynamic and collaborative team environment.

This accounting and payroll assistant position supports the accounting department by completing routine clerical and accounting tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Works with HR to gather information needed for payroll.
  • Prepares and reviews payroll for processing.
  • Reviews and posts expense reports for Accounts Payable.
  • Enters and pays purchase invoices as needed for Accounts Payable.
  • Prepares and submits contract invoices as needed for Accounts Receivable.
  • Assists with overflow work from the accounting department to include:
  • Research
  • Data Entry
  • Printing and Scanning
  • Organizing
  • Filing
  • Scheduling
  • Errands
  • Making phone calls and emailing correspondence
  • Any other miscellaneous tasks needed by the accounting staff.

Qualifications

  • Requires strong communication abilities.
  • Requires computer and data entry skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and document creation software such as Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to navigate online invoice processing systems.
  • 2-year business degree or equivalent experience in human resources and/or accounting preferred.

Working Conditions: Standard office environment.
