The primary duties and responsibilities of this position include:
Perform accounting functions, financial projections, and other financial functions. Perform accounting and financial reporting for grants. Perform accounts payable/receivable functions, cash/financial forecasts, and projections. Plan, schedule and supervise the work of accounting staff. Partner with PeopleSoft functional leads to assist with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system reporting.
Best Qualified Candidates will have:
1 to 4 or more years of experience as an accountant or auditor, two of which are in a related functional area of accounting, auditing, or financial management. Previous experience with creating a budget and monitoring/reporting financial results. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management; establish positive relationships with other staff, vendors, and customers. Experience performing accounting and financial reporting for grants. Previous experience performing accounts payable/receivable functions. Experience performing cash/financial forecasts and projections. Experience working within General Ledger and analyzing and modifying internal business processes.
