Job Description
Our interior decorator position is for anyone who has knowledge and experience on how to decorate basic
furniture, fixtures, and spaces, as well as communicating with the designer/upholster. This position is seasonal
based and you will be on-call. You can be a part of our company permanently as our official decorator for our
boutiques, if your ideas/performance is commendable. The current interior decorator position is for our new popup store. We are excited for the store and looking for anyone who has an eye for fashion and who can deliver
stylish and trendy ideas!
TASKS
• Sewing and cutting fabrics (optional)
• Should be able to give advice on which color schemes, lighting, layouts, flooring, wallpaper, furniture,
etc., would be best for a particular space
• Should be able to make sketches for their decorating ideas and present cost estimates, which then must
be approved before beginning projects
• Should communicate with the design team regularly
• Organize and manage the arrangement and installation of furnishings
• Should be comfortable with working in tight deadlines
Qualifications
• Punctual, trustworthy and reliable
• Interior Decorating experience minimum of 6 months to 1 year
• Must have basic art/interior designing educational background
• Basic upholstery skills (sewing, sketching, etc.)
• Should have your own portfolio of previous works
• Should be available on call/flexibility (seasonal and/or irregular hours)
• Well versed in current trends in fashion (textiles, embellishments, interior design basics)
• Keeping in contact with electricians/plumbers/architects/contractors (optional)
