Hattie Larlham, a premier non-profit Northeast and Central Ohio provider for people with intellectual and physical disabilities seeks a Senior Accountant to join our Accounting and Finance team.  This position is located at our Twinsburg, Ohio headquarters location.  

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the accounting functions of the Hattie Larlham agencies. Responsibilities include: 

• Month and year end closing of general ledger for companies assigned
• Analyzing revenue and expenses and reporting on vacancies on a monthly basis
• Maintain and update company trial balances, accounting work papers on a monthly basis including fixed assets, leases, and accounts receivable 
• Setup and maintain financial statements for distribution
• Assist with the budget process
• Review or act as the backup in reviewing sales tax returns, payroll tax returns, and Workers Compensation
• Works closely with the Controller and lead the staff in preparing and gathering documents necessary for the annual audit
• Assist in preparing the monthly reporting package for the CFO and Treasures committee 

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Accounting. Certified Public Accountant, preferred. Must have a minimum of 5 years accounting experience. Knowledgeable with Windows, Excel, Great Plains software and computerized payroll system preferred.
